  • This Mercenary Guard Droid was released single boxed in early July 2026 exclusively at Target and Walmart stores
  • Mercenary Guard droids could be seen in the Star Wars: The Mandalorian And Grogu movie
  • The regular blue box version of the figure is identical to the white first edition box, the only difference is the packaging
  • Hasbro included a staff, a blaster and a removable soft-goods cape with the droid
  • The staff fits well into both hands
  • The blaster is a good fit for the right hand and it's possible to place the droid's index finger onto the weapon's trigger
  • The pouch going across the chest is glued to the back and not removable from the droid
  • The movement processor on the back of the head can be taken off or swiveled up and down
  • The paint application on the Mercenary Guard Droid's upper body and head looks great, but the legs and arms look very plastic despite having some dirt and weathering on them
  • There is no storage on this droid for the weapons and there are no hidden break-away panels which can be opened
  • We experienced no major balancing issues with this droid
  • All in all, it's an utterly cool looking droid regardless of somewhat plastic looking legs/arms, and it comes with enough accessories to make them look different in a display if you decide to get multiple
  • This Mercenary Guard Droid is a character debut in the Black Series 6" line, and can easily be recommended
