  • The figure is loosely based on Stormtrooper appearances in the 1985 Star Wars: Droids cartoon
  • For this figure Hasbro repainted their existing Stormtrooper sculpt with gray highlights around the helmet, in particular the eyes and earcups, included a coin, a blaster and staff
  • The sculpt itself remains unchanged since its 2020 debut in the Mandalorian single boxed line-up Black Series Stormtrooper
  • The blaster fits well into both hands
  • There is no human head under the helmet, and there are no armor pieces removable
  • The figure is able to hold the staff loosely in the right hand, but it keeps falling out of the left hand
  • The included coin feels very cheap, it's made out of plastic instead of metal, and it reminds us of an accessory made for kids to chew on than made for collectors
  • The paint application on the Stormtrooper is a miss, while some of the details on the helmet were painted with gray highlights, some gray details on the chest or belt boxes are missing
  • The Stormtrooper stands securely on display
  • All in all, if you remember the 1985 cartoon, then this might be for you (it's on Disney+ if you want to catch up on it), otherwise this feels like a mistimed release without an anniversary or any other special occasion
  • The colorful cardback looks great, but the lack of painted gray details on the figure, a cheap coin, and a staff which fits only very loosely into the hands make this release feel underwhelming
