MORE INFORMATION

This Kyle Katarn figure was released during The Legacy Collection in October 2009 in a comic 2-pack together with a Yuuzhan Vong figure. The figure is based on Kyle Katarn's appearance in the comic books series Star Wars: Tales.

Kyle Katarn has 12 movable parts, including a ball-jointed neck, ball-jointed shoulders and elbows, a swivel waist, 2 legs and ball-jointed knees. Unfortunately the figure wasn't given any ankle joints and it's tricky to get it to stand on its own. Luckily Hasbro added the typical peg holes in the feet so you can place it on a stand. Kyle Katarn's lightsaber hilt is molded nicely and fits very well into both of his hands. The blaster is a great fit for Katarn's hands as well, and fits perfectly into the holster. The holster looks a little bit bulky, but it's not overly distracting. Kyle's shoulder armor can be firmly plugged into two holes on his right shoulder, which looks pretty cool.

The paint application on the figure is well done with some slightly weathered boots, the rest of it is in "pristine" condition. One thing that really looks great is the face sculpt and resembles a great likeness to the comic book Katarn. Overall, this Kyle Katarn figure looks great and is most definitely a big improvement over the previously released Kyle Katarn figure from the Power Of The Force 2 series.
