This Leesub Sirln figure was released individually carded in November 2009 as part of The Legacy Collection's A New Hope wave. Leesub Sirln is a background alien which can briefly be spotted in ANH's cantina scene.
The figure has a total of 14 joints, including articulated knees and ankles. The figure has no balancing issues, but there are peg holes in the feet to accomodate a stand. Leesub's right hand is sculpted so that it can hold the glass, but not the blaster. The blaster fits nicely though into her left hand and there is a small, nicely hidden holster located on the figure's left boot, which is also a perfect fit for the blaster.
The base color for the figure is a pinkish, fleshy color, and unfortunately because the figure isn't wearing any sleeves or pants, the joints in the shoulders, elbows and knees stick out more than usual. But, there is no way around it, unless Hasbro removes the joints completely for aesthetic reasons. Besides some obvious joints, the figure seems to have a different paint job on the back when compared to the movie counterpart. In the movie, the silver, metal looking outfit covers the entire back, while the figure has only some metal at the top and the bottom of the back. Take a look at the screen shot, and then at the picture showing the figure from the back.
Overall, this Leesub Sirln figure is another cool background alien from the famous Tatooine cantina sequence. It might not be super accurate when compared to the movie, but this is probably as good as it gets for this character. Despite some accuracy issues, you get a super articulated Leesub Sirln figure, which will add some variety to your cantina display!
Leesub Sirln is a Qiraash and one of the patrons in the Mos Eisley cantina on Tatooine. She is hiding from Imperial authorities that suspect her of having precognitive powers and have declared her a Force adept.
