• The figure was exclusive to Disney's D23 convention in Anaheim - California in August 2015 and Disney Theme Parks
• The color tone and scheme on the droid were inspired by Mickey Mouse's apperance in 1940's 2-hour long Fantasia
• The wizard hat is removable from the dome
• R4-D23's dome is removable and reveals some mechanics inside the droid's head
