MORE INFORMATION

This Yuuzhan Vong action figure was released during The Legacy Collection in October 2009 in a comic 2-pack together with Kyle Katarn. The Yuuzhan Vong species was never seen in any of the feature length movies, but they appeared in various expanded universe stories.

The figure is well articulated with 14 joints, including ball-joints in both shoulders, both elbows, both knees and ankles. The only accessory included is a battle staff, which fits very well into both of the figure's hands. Hasbro tried to stay true to the comic books and made this figure the correct height, which means it's about 2 heads taller than a basic star wars figure and about twice as wide!! The size is pretty impressive in person. The sculpt itself is nicely done with lots of details in the facial area, the armor and on the battle staff. None of the armor or any other parts on the figure can be removed.

The paint application is well executed, showing the Yuuzhan Vong wearing some slightly weathered armor with various shades of red, brown, black and gray colors. All in all, this Yuuzhan Vong action figure is truly impressive. It's super articulated, very big and menacing looking. If you are a fan of the expanded universe or follow any of the Yuuzhan Vong story lines you will be very pleased with this figure. If you are not into the comic books you might want to give this figure a look anyways since it's really well done and looks very nice on display.
