This Imperial Jumptrooper action figure was released singled carded in 2008's 30th Anniversary Collection. The Clone Trooper can be seen in various levels of The Force Unleashed video game.

The Jumptrooper is super articulated with 14 joints, including ball-joints in the neck, both shoulders, elbows, knees and ankles. There are swivel joints in the wrists, waist and legs. What you'll notice right away is that the joints are stiffer than normal, and the limbs overall feel thicker compared to other Star Wars figures. The clone has no issues keeping his balance or holding the blaster tightly in either hand. The super-cool looking helmet is not removable and the cable running from it into the chest armor is permanently attached. However, you can unplugg the cable from the chest armor if you prefer and have it hang down loosely.

The paint application on the Jumptrooper is well done with some dirt on the boots and a cleanly applied white, gray and black on the armor and the clone helmet. The figure's mold is nice, but unfortunately not very accurate. The clone is called a "JUMP" trooper, and the packaging text states that Jumptroopers use jet packs. However, Hasbro's version of the Imperial Jumptrooper doesn't have a jet pack at all. There is also no room on the back of the figure where one could be attached. This is a pretty big design flaw and unfortunate, because the figure itself turned out great. Overall, if you can get over the "missing jet-pack flaw", this super articulated Imperial Jumptrooper is well done and looks nice.

Equipped with jet backpacks, Imperial jumptroopers burst through the air in short spurts. Their long-range rail detonators eliminate all enemy targets from any vantage point. As the Emperor extends his iron-fisted rule, jumptroopers join Imperial forces from Outer Rim planets to more central locations like the Death Star.
