MORE INFORMATION

The Stormtrooper Commander was released as a Gamestop exclusive in 2008's The Anniversary Collection, and was one year later repacked in 2009's The Legacy Collection as a San Diego Comic Con exclusive. Stormtrooper Commanders were featured in The Force Unleashed video game.

For this figure, Hasbro re-used and re-painted the basic, single carded Stormtrooper figure from The Anniversary Collection. And while the Stormtrooper's armor was repainted, the face stayed exactly the same, including the same scars. The figure is super articulated with 10 ball-joints (neck, shoulders, elbows, waist, knees, ankles) and 4 swivel joints (wrists, legs). The only weapon included was an Imperial blaster, which fits well into both of the trooper's hands. On the left side of the Stormtrooper is a non-removable holster, where the blaster can be stowed away. The Stormtrooper helmet is removable, and sits very loosely on top of the head. The belt and the thermal detonator on the back are not removable.

The paint application on the Stormtrooper Commander is quite nice with some scratches on both arms, the helmet, chest and right leg. All things considered, it's a nice, super articulated Stormtrooper, and if it weren't for the loose limbs and the very loosely sitting helmet we would have given it a 10 out of 10. Like with all the other The Force Unleashed Stormtroopers, if you can get over the colors on the armor, chances are you'll like this figure.

PACKAGING TEXT

The stormtroper commander patrols the front lines, leading his troops into fierce combat on the fungal planet Felucia. Clearly visible with his enhanced, uniquely detailed armor, he confronts the Felucians with a mighty BlasTech E-11 blaster rifle, and the pure willingness to pull its trigger.
