MORE INFORMATION

Astromech Droid R5-C7 was released in 2009 as a Build A Droid figure during The Legacy Collection. The astromech droid can be seen very briefly in Attack Of The Clones, right after Padme Amidala and Anakin Skywalker arrive on Tatooine.

The droid has 5 joints, a rotating dome, 2 swivel legs, and 2 swivel ankles. The middle leg is removable, so it can be positioned either "moving", or "standing still". All 3 legs have little rolls in them, so that the droid can be moved around. R5-C7 does not have a mechanism where the middle leg moves in and out when the dome is rotated, hence no clicking sounds. There were no accessories of any kind included with this release, and the antenna sticking out of the dome is permanently attached.

R5-C7's paint application is cleanly applied. What's nice about this paint application is the weathering. It's very subtle on the legs and the body and adds a bit more character to the little droid. All things considered, this is another decent astromech droid by Hasbro, and it should please fans who like to have background characters in their displays.
