MORE INFORMATION

Astromech Droid R4-P44 was released in 2009 as a Build A Droid figure during The Legacy Collection. The droid can only be seen for a very, very brief moment in Revenge Of The Sith, while Plo Koon is being shot down by ARC-170 pilots over Cato Neimoidia.

R4-P44 has 5 joints, a rotating dome, 2 swivel legs, and 2 swivel ankles. The middle leg is removable, so it can be positioned either "moving", or "standing still". All 3 legs have little rolls in them, so that the droid can be moved around. R4-P44 does not have a mechanism where the middle leg moves in and out when the dome is rotated, hence no clicking sounds. There were no accessories of any kind included with this release, and the droid does not have any antennas that can be plugged into the dome.

R4-P44 is kept in a clean, pristine condition without any weathering. Overall, if you own any of the previously released astromech droids, you know exactly what you are getting here. R4-P44 is a well done figure, and Hasbro's astromech droid mold leaves very little to improve upon, if anything at all.
