MORE INFORMATION

This Imperial Evo Trooper was released in the first of two Toys'r'us exclusive The Force Unleashed multipacks. The sets were released in May of 2010 during The Legacy Collection, and each set contained 5 Star Wars figures. Imperial Evo Troopers can be seen in various levels of the first video game.

The clone trooper is a repaint of the previously released Imperial Evo Trooper from 2008's The Anniversary Collection. The figure is super articulated with 14 joints, including ball-joints in the neck, shoulders, knees and ankles. There are swivel joints in the wrists, waist and both legs. Thanks to adjustable knees and ankle articulation, the figure stands very securely on its own without the need for a stand. Just like the previous version, the joints on this figure feel stiffer, almost of a better quality plastic than that of some of the other Star Wars figures. Hasbro included 4 accessories with the trooper, 2 hand blasters, a blaster rifle, and a backpack. The blasters are an OK fit, but don't sit in the hands quite as well as the rifle. The backpack can be plugged into a hole in the back of the figure, where it stays nicely attached. The figure has no other removable parts besides the backpack.

The paint application on this Imperial Evo Trooper is the only difference to the previously released figure. This time, the armor is painted in a very light brown camouflaged pattern, without any dirt or weathering. The figure's mold is well done with a cool looking helmet, an ammunition strap on the right side of the right boot and two thermal detonators on the back. All in all, it's a super articulated Evo Trooper, which has not been released in this color pattern before. If you like clone troopers in camouflaged colors, you might want to consider adding this figure to your collection.

PACKAGING TEXT

Trained to survive the galaxy's most treacherous weather conditions, EVO troopers have enhanced armor that withstands extreme heat, acid rivers and lightning. Their FA-3 flechette launchers fire shards of metal capable of hitting multiple targets.
