This Clone Trooper Lieutenant was released in the last wave of the comic 2-packs during The Legacy Collection in Spring 2010. The second Star Wars figure in the set was a regular Clone Trooper from the 212th Battalion. The figure is based on a Clone Trooper Lieutenant's appearance in the Dark Horse comic book story titled "Routine Valor".

The trooper is super articulated with 14 joints, with all of them being ball-joints, with the exception of swivel joints in the wrists and legs. The right leg is a little bit shorter than the left, and you'll have to adjust the ankles to balance the figure out. The helmet is a good fit and covers the head nicely. The two hand blasters don't fit very well into the trooper's hands and sit very loose. The blaster rifle however is a good fit. Besides the basic weaponry, Hasbro included a grappling hook, which can be plugged into the blaster rifle's front. The nice thing is, that even though the blaster rifle houses the grappling hook, it's not any bigger than any other basic blaster rifle. There is no mechanism that shoots the grappling hook out, so you'll have to do that manually.

The paint application on the Clone Trooper Lieutenant isn't all that great. The helmet was given a big orange stripe, instead of having it run into a triangular shape towards the front. The armor does have some scratches on the shoulders and the upper chest, but Hasbro didn't add any dirt to the armor or the boots. It looks strange when you see all the holes in the skirt and the scratches in the armor, while everything is shiny and clean. When you look at the ankles, you'll notice that the joints are painted in orange, which should either be a black to show the under suit, or a white, so that it would be still part of the armor. The figure's mold isn't all that great either. Like mentioned before, the right leg is a little bit shorter than the left, and Hasbro neglected to give the figure holsters on both sides, like seen in the comic book. All in all, this Clone Trooper Lieutenant doesn't meet expectations, and is probably only a good addition to the collection if you want to add a generic clone figure to your army.

When their Republic gunship crashes near a dangerous gun emplacement, the clones launch an attack to capture the promontory on which the gun is anchored. Although the odds are against them, the troopers donGÇÖt hesitate to take on the deadly challenge.
