MORE INFORMATION

Ulic Qel-Droma was released in the last wave of comic 2-packs during The Legacy Collection in Spring of 2010. The second figure in the set was Exar Kun. Ulic Qel-Droma is based on the appearances in the Dark Horse comic book series Tales Of The Jedi, Dark Lords Of The Sith from late 1994.

The figure is super articulated with 14 movable parts, including ball-joints in the neck, shoulders, elbows, knees and ankles. The wrists and the waist are swivel jointed. The only accessory included with Ulic Qel-Droma was a green lightsaber, which the figure can only hold in the left hand. Keep the plastic band in place, if you want the figure to hold the saber in the right hand! None of the figure's shoulder armor or clothes are removable.

Hasbro took some liberties in terms of paint application and sculpt details when compared to the comic book series, and so Ulic Qel-Droma has a gray shirt, instead of a blue one. There is also no weathering or battle damage on the clothes, even though the sculpt of the tunic is battle torn with holes and looks ripped off at the bottom. Like with most modern Star Wars action figures, the face sculpt is done very nicely, even showing Ulic's tattoo on the forehead. All in all, it's a super articulated Ulic Qel-Droma action figure, and most likely the only version Hasbro will ever make of this character. It's probably not an action figure which will appeal to a lot of younger collectors, but it should appeal to some older fans, who were into Star Wars comic books at a time when there was no other Star Wars material available.
