- R5-SK1 was released in a 2016 Disney Theme Park exclusive 4-Pack titled Droid Factory
- The other three astromech droids in this set were C2-B5, R2-BHD and R3-M2
- Disney used their popular build-a-droid mold for this figure, which means there are no cables on the feet and the dome has a hole in it on the top
- R5-SK1 can be taken apart into following parts: the dome, the legs, the main body and the middle leg
- There are no hidden panels or gadgets built into R5-SK1
- All three feet have small wheels in them so the droid can be rolled around manually
- R5-SK1 can be displayed in a three-legged or two-legged stance
- The droid was painted cleanly and looks quite nice on display
