MORE INFORMATION

  • Astromech droid C2-B5 was released on September 30, 2016 at Disney Stores
  • C2-B5 can be seen in Rogue One in a blink-and-you-miss-it scene, when Cassian, Jyn and K-2 infiltrate the Imperial base on Scarif
  • The figure is a repaint and rework of the previously released Elite Series R2-D2 figure
  • Besides an entirely different color, Disney also covered the screw holes in the back of the droid (nice!)
  • In order to get the middle leg in and out of the droid it can be pushed all the way into the body until it snaps into place, push it in again and it loosens so that it can be pulled out and extended all the way
  • The dome can be rotated 360 degrees (it doesn't trigger any functionality)
  • There are no panels on the droid which can be opened
  • There are no wheels in the bottom of the feet
  • Our figure was painted very cleanly with no smudges or paint drips
  • Disney included a display stand with C2-B5 (nice, but the droid doesn't have any holes in the feet and C2-B5 stands securely on his)
