ARF Trooper Boil was released packed-in together with an AT-RT vehicle in the Clone Wars Deluxe assortment in late October 2010. The figure is based on Clone Trooper Boil's appearance in the fantastic episode Landing at Point Rain from the second season of The Clone Wars TV show.
Boil is ultra articulated with 14 ball-joints. The 14 joints are in the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, the waist, the hip, knees and both ankles. The figure has no balancing problems despite its petite nature. The only weapon included was a basic Clone Trooper blaster, which is an OK fit for either of Boil's hands. Thanks to a ball-jointed hip and ball-jointed wrists, Boil fits quite well on top of the AT-RT, and can even grab the handles somewhat OK.
The paint application on Boil is well done, and looks pretty cool. The brown camouflage pattern is applied nicely, and the helmet even features Boil's emblem on the side, which is a nod to Numa, the Twi'lek child from the Clone Wars episode Innocents Of Ryloth from the first season. The figure's sculpt is fantastic, not only is Boil ultra articulated, but the joints are nicely hidden. Unless you can't stand funky colored Clone Trooper figures, this ARF Trooper Boil is very well done, and well worth adding to the collection.

Clone Trooper Boil pilots an AT-RT during the battle to retake Geonosis. An AT-RT (All Terrain Recon Transport) is a one man walker armed with a repeating laser cannon. With its height, mobility and speed, the walker allows Boil to support the embattled Republic forces as they fight waves of battle droids and Geonosian Warriors.
