MORE INFORMATION

Bounty Hunter Embo was released individually carded during The Clone Wars Collection in November 2010. Embo could be seen in the episode "Bounty Hunters", from the second season of the Clone Wars TV show.

The figure is super articulated with 14 joints, including ball-joints in the neck, shoulders, elbows, knees and ankles. The wrists, the waist and both legs are swivel jointed. Embo stands quite well on his own, but he does have the typical peg holes in both feet if you'd like to place him on a stand. Hasbro included a bowcaster, two knives, a hat and a removable soft-plastic upper-body armor with the figure. The bowcaster has two small individual pieces on the front of it, which can be moved back and forth, or be taken off. The weapon fits quite well into both of Embo's hands, but if you choose to display the figure with a different weapon, you can plug the bowcaster into a small hole in the back of the soft-plastic armor. This way it looks as if Embo is carrying the weapon around on his back. It fits pretty well and stays nicely attached there. The genius here is that Hasbro added the hole to the soft-plastic part, and not the figure itself, which helps to maintain the figure's aesthetics if you choose to display it without the armor. Both knives are a good fit for Embo's hands, but they can also be stowed away in two slots on the back of the soft-plastic armor. Embo's hat can be plugged into a small hole on the top of the head, where it stays attached quite nicely. The soft-goods skirt is not removable, but looks very nice.

The paint application on Embo is overall well done, however the colors appear to be quite a bit stronger and brighter than what the character looked like in the TV show. The painted details on the hat, the facial area or the patterns on the hip area look great! Aesthetically, the figure looks fantastic with well hidden joints and great likeness to the counterpart from the TV show. All in all, this never-before released Embo action figure can easily be recommended, and makes a fantastic addition to the outstanding Clone Wars line-up of figures.
