Jedi Master Saesee Tiin was released in a Walmart exclusive 3-pack (Commemorative DVD Collection I) in 2005 together with Anakin Skywalker (Tattoo) and a Clone Trooper. The figure is based on Saesee Tiin's appearance in the Genndy Tartakovsky Clone Wars TV show.
For Saesee Tiin, Hasbro shamelessly re-used the Obi-Wan Kenobi sculpt, including the pre-defined legs. The only difference now is the head sculpt, the paint application and the green instead of the blue lightsaber. The articulation however stayed the same with 4 swivel joints, including a swivel neck, 2 swivel arms and a swivel waist. Unfortunately, the figure stands shaky, and you will need to use the included stand to give it more stability. The only weapon included with Saesee Tiin was a green lightsaber, which fits well into both hands.
The paint application on Saesee Tiin is basic, but fitting for the Tartakovsky animated series. Like with all the Clone Wars figures in the Tartakovsky Clone Wars line, this version of Saesee Tiin was clearly made for children.
Through the creative vision of Lucasfilm Ltd. and the Cartoon Network, the Clone Wars are brought to life in an exciting new series of short animated chapters. A unique animation style captures the drama of this epic period in galactic history along with its outstanding heroes and adversaries. Noble Jedi warriors lead Clone Troopers into battle against the evil Separatist forces and their droid armies. Anakin, Obi-Wan, Yoda and their comrades struggle against the rising power of the dark side and confront personal challenges against a backdrop of war-torn planets.
