This Commander Gree figure was released individually carded during the Vintage Collection in February 2011. Commander Gree can be seen in Revenge Of The Sith on the Wookiee planet Kashyyyk.
Commander Gree's sculpt is identical to the Commander Gree figure released in 2008's Anniversary Collection, but the paint application is slightly different. The clone has 14 joints, including a ball-jointed neck, 2 ball-jointed shoulders, 2 ball-jointed elbows, 2 ball-jointed wrists, a ball-jointed waist, 2 ball-jointed legs, 2 ball-jointed knees and 2 ball-jointed ankles. The figure balances out beautifully on its own without the need for a stand. Hasbro included a removable helmet, a blaster, a removable antenna, and binoculars with Gree. The blaster fits very well into the right hand, the binoculars are a good (not perfect, but OK) fit for the right hand, and the antenna plugs nicely into the hole in the back. The helmet is also a good fit. The suspenders and the belt are part of the figure and not removable.
The camouflage pattern on Commander Gree's pants and arms only varies very little compared to the 2008 TAC Commander Gree. Unfortunately, Hasbro didn't match the dirty and used look of the armor on the helmet and kept it mostly clean. Because of that, the helmet looks almost a little out of place. All things considered though, this Commander Gree figure with its 14 points of articulation can easily be recommended, unless you already own the 2008 TAC Commander Gree.
