MORE INFORMATION

Captain Lock was released individually carded during the Clone Wars Collection as a K-Mart exclusive in February 2011. Lock was assigned to Jedi Master Eeth Koth and could be seen in the second season of the Clone Wars, in the episode entitled GÇ£Grievous IntrigueGÇ¥.

The trooper is super articulated with 14 joints, including a ball-jointed neck, 2 ball-jointed shoulders, 2 ball-jointed elbows, 2 ball-jointed wrists, a ball-jointed waist, 2 swivel legs, 2 ball-jointed knees and 2 ball-jointed ankles. The figure stands quite well by itself without the need for a stand. The only weapon included was a generic Clone Trooper blaster, which Captain Lock can hold very well in the right hand. Unfortunately, it only fits very loosely into the left hand. The antenna on Captain Lock's left shoulder, and the helmet attachment are permanently attached and not removable. There is no head sculpt underneath the helmet.

The paint job on Captain Lock is quite simple with a clean, all white armor. The yellow symbol on Captain Lock's right shoulder looks good and the patterns on the armor come pretty close to what the character looked like in the TV show. The helmet's fin however seemed to be gray in the animated show, but it's painted green on the figure. The super articulated sculpt is fantastic, no complaints there. All in all, Captain Lock is a welcome addition to the Clone Wars line-up, because it's a never-before-done character, and a well executed one at that.

PACKAGING TEXT

Captain Lock serves under the Jedi general Eeth Koth. The Clone Captain and his troops valiantly defend Master Koths Jedi Cruiser when it is being boarded by General Grievous, firing their blasters at waves of super battle droids marching into the ship.
