- Vader's helmet is one piece and can't be removed
- The right shoulder armor is weathered - while the left one is not
- The soft-goods cape can be removed (it's difficult - but can be done)
- 10 out of 12 joints are swivel joints - which for 2011/2012 is outdated
- Vader can only hold the lightsaber in the right hand - the left hand is molded with an open palm
- The lightsaber doesn't fit all too well - make sure to keep the plastic rubber band in place
- The included hover platform is new and looks nice
- The platform has a groove - but there was no accessory included that could be placed there
- The control panel plugs well into a little hole in the platform
