MORE INFORMATION

  • The Emperor's Shadow Guard was released in a shared exclusive 4-pack simply titled "Guards" late September 2017
  • The set could be purchased at Gamestop, ThinkGeek and Barnes'N'Noble stores and it retailed between $79 and $89
  • The four figures included in this set are the Senate Guard, the Imperial Royal Guard, the Emperor's Shadow Guard and the Elite Praetorian Guard
  • The Senate Guard, the Imperial Royal Guard and the Shadow Guard share the same body and details underneath the robes
  • The Emperor's Shadow Guard figure is a representation of the Shadow Guards from the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed video game series
  • The Emperor's Shadow Guard came with a blaster, a removable soft-goods robe and a lightsaber pike with removable red blade
  • The small blaster fits OK into the holster which is hidden underneath the robe
  • The blaster is too small for the hands
  • The head can be popped off the body, this way the soft-goods robe can be removed
  • The black robe covers the entire body well, but it feels bulky and thin at the same time
  • It takes times to make the robe flow good on the figure, but it's possible
  • There is no head underneath the helmet
  • The lightsaber pike is a good fit for the hands
  • The belt is its own piece and it's plugged into the back of the figure, it is possible to remove it by stripping it down the legs (we don't recommend this)
  • The black color on the outfit looks mighty cool and even though this character is considered LEGENDS, and Hasbro likely included it in this set because it was an easy repaint, it still makes for a great figure on display
  • The Emperor's Shadow Guard stands securely when on display without any balancing issues

PACKAGING TEXT

Each one of these elite guards is specially chosen by Palpatine for his exceptional loyalty to the Emperor and the Empire, and for his ability to use the Force. Each Shadow Guard carries a pike that can be ignited to use as a lightsaber-like blade.
