The Star Wars Saga toy line launched at midnight on April 23, 2002. Even though the toy line focused on Attack Of The Clones at first, Hasbro opted to not release these figures in Episode II specific packaging. Many of the figures based on their Episode II appearance had action features, a gimmick Hasbro moved away from as the line progressed. Some of the more obscure highlights in the Star Wars Saga series included action figures of Ephant Mon, R1-G4, Wat Tambor and a Tusken Raider with a magnetic removable head.
