On April 3rd, 2010, Star Wars The Vintage Collection was introduced through a German Jedi-Con exclusive convention 2-pack featuring the Bounty Hunters 4-Lom and Zuckuss. The same set became a Star Wars Celebration V exclusive in August 2010, coinciding with the launch of The Vintage Collection in stores. For this line, Hasbro opted to revive the beloved Kenner packaging-style from the late 70s and 80s, featuring a coffin blister and a large character picture next to the figure. After its initial run, The Vintage Collection went on a five-year hiatus until its revival in 2018.
Here is a look at the Star Wars: The Vintage Collection figures which were released between 2010 and 2013 single carded in the basic assortment. Those figures are sometimes referred to as VC 1.0.

Following figures were released in an exclusive San Diego Comic Con 2011 Death Star II set which celebrated the original title of episode 6 Revenge Of The Jedi. All 14 figures inside this set were single carded and featured the Revenge Of The Jedi logo on the packaging. The Death Star cost $129.99 at the convention and was very difficult to obtain. A limited number of sets were made available later through HasbroToyShop.com (now Hasbro Pulse) but were equally difficult to get and sold out quickly. 12 out of the included 14 figures were released on their single cards at regular retail, the only two figures which are truly exclusive to this set are the Mouse Droid and Salacious Crumb.
In 2012 Hasbro released an exclusive multipack at San Diego Comic Con. The Carbon Freezing Chamber set included 7 individually carded figures with six of them being carded on a cancelled packaging design from the late 70's which Kenner had considered for the original Star Wars action figure line. Because of the cancelled card design the figures are referred to as the LOST LINE. Those six figures (all but Jar Jar in Carbonite), on the same cards, were also sold at retail and were not exclusive to this set. In addition those six figures were also released in the basic Vintage Collection assortment on different cards. The seventh figure, Jar Jar Binks in Carbonite, was only available in this set but he came packaged on a Vintage Collection style card and not on a cancelled card design card. This 7-pack cost $79.99 at the convention and was later made available through HasbroToyShop.com in limited numbers. After the original The Vintage Collection ended in 2013, Hasbro took a five year break before bringing it back again in April 2018. For continuity the numbering for the figures in the basic assortment continued with #116.
In 2018 Hasbro began to re-issue previously released The Vintage Collection figures with the same VC number on the back of the packaging as before. Most figures however weren't straight re-packs, they were given significant paint updates especially around the facial area and in some cases even included newly sculpted parts. The packaging was changed from the previous releases which was most noticeable on the back with different figures pictured and updated legal statements.

Hasbro's Troop Builder program for Star Wars: The Vintage Collection was announced on September 8, 2021. Each set cost $41.99 at launch and included four loose figures inside the box wrapped in paper with multiple weapons and accessories. When the sets launched in 2021 they were exclusively available to fans through ShopDisney.com and HasbroPulse.com.
Listed here are Star Wars: The Vintage Collection Deluxe figures. The Deluxe assortment included figures together with additional accessories. Figures in the Deluxe line-up cost between $20.99 and $26.49 when first released in 2022.
