In 2019, Hasbro unveiled the Star Wars Retro Collection at New York Toy Fair with seven figures: Luke, Han, Leia, Chewbacca, Vader, Stormtrooper, and Tarkin. The Retro Collection features faithful reproductions of the original Kenner 3.75" figures from the late '70s to mid-'80s, with a used-looking packaging and modern production markings. To celebrate the launch, Hasbro sent out a media envelope reminiscent of the 1977 Early Bird Kit, including vintage stickers.
Out of 115 figures released 72 were exclusives, which shows a focus of 62.61% on exclusives and 37.39% on regularly available figures.
