Surprise, surprise! The Easter Bunny has teamed up with Hasbro to bring you Star Wars, Marvel, Playdough and My Little Pony easter eggs, which in the case of Star Wars, are filled with 3.75" Star Wars action figures. The eggs are being sold for $34.99 at grocery stores in a Galaxy not so far, far away (QFC in north Seattle, WA had them (QFC is Kroger owned), however Safeway and Albertsons did not). Currently the eggs are on sale for $29.99 at QFC stores.
Each Star Wars egg contains six Star Wars figures which are randomly packaged. You'll get two 3.75" figures from the Force Link 2.0 series, two 3.75" figures from the Galaxy Of Adventures toy line, and two mini figures from the Micro Force line. The Star Wars figures from the Galaxy Of Adventures toy line also include two mini comic books.
Obviously this is a way for Hasbro to get rid of Marvel, Star Wars, Playdough and My Little Pony overstock in a fun way. It's a great opportunity for parents to surprise their kids with some Star Wars action figures for Easter, especially since a regular 3.75" single Vintage Collection figure costs $13.99 + tax these days. You can see the contents of the egg below.
