Many of the Japanese Star Wars licensees displayed new Star Wars toys and products at the Tokyo Toy Show this past weekend. Below are some images of Bandai's S.H. Figuarts line-up of figures. The most interesting S.H.Figuarts Star Wars figures on display were Darth Vader, Han Solo (TFA), FN-2187 (Finn), Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi and C-3PO with R2-D2.
It was nice to see finished versions of C-3PO and R2-D2 on display. The biggest surprise however was seeing a brand new Darth Vader action figure. There is no word yet about when it will ship to retailers, but it's pretty save to say that we are likely an entire year away from its release to the public. Bandai also showed prototypes of Ben Kenobi, Han and Finn, which all looked great. The figure which was surprisingly missing from the display was Rey in her Resistance Outfit. Bandai has released no information yet about when all those figures will be available for purchase, with the exception of the droids, which will ship next month. Take a look at the pictures below and thanks to J.B. reader Hyomi Kagawa for the pictures!
