• This Boba Fett (Prototype Armor) figure was a Hasbro Mail-In exclusive in 2011 and 2012
• The range-finder on the helmet is removable and can be moved up or down
• There is no head underneath the helmet
• The jet-pack plugs well into a hole in the back of the figure
• The cape and Wookiee braids are attached permanently
• The blaster seems a bit too big for the holster
• Boba Fett can hold both weapons OK in his hands
• The figure stands well without a stand and keeps its balance decently in even more dynamic poses
• The belt and holster are attached permanently
• Unfortunately - Hasbro didn't capture the original costume as well as they could have - this becomes quickly apparent by just watching the "Super Trooper" video on StarWars.com once
• As pointed out by Ben Burt - both lights on the front of the helmet were red - not red and blue as on the figure
• There is no holster on the prototype armor - instead there is a big white pouch - which is missing on the figure
• There are no Wookiee braids on the prototype armor
• The rocket looks quite different on the prototype armor
• Why not go all the way and instead of including the basic cape - include the STAR WARS beach towel - which was used for the prototype armor?
• All in all - this super articulated Boba Fett (Prototype Armor) is a very cool looking figure and a nice tribute - but with more attention to detail (or money spent on Hasbro's behalf) - this figure could have been much more fun for collectors

This limited edition figure depicts the first costume ever produced for Boba Fett. The all-white armor reflects the character's initial concept as a "super trooper" before he evolved into the bounty hunter he is today. This prototype design was unveiled on June 28, 1978 in a screen test shot and is being worn by the assistant film editor for The Empire Strikes Back. In the 20-minute screen test, the sound designer describes the myriad weapons and features on this armored uniform for George Lucas and the Star Wars crew. For the first time ever, we have created this special action figure to commemorate the birth of this favorite character from the Star Wars saga.
