MORE INFORMATION

  • This 3.75" BB-8 was released single carded in June 2017 exclusively at Disney Theme Parks
  • Disney used BB-unit Build A Droid parts for this figure which means BB-8 can be separated into four parts: the dome, two body shells and the inside of the body
  • The antennas on the dome can't be removed
  • The dome can be rotated 360 degrees
  • The dome has a hole in the top of it where an accessory could be plugged in (not included)
  • Even though the entire body is round, the droid has a weight on the inside of the body which balances it out nicely
  • There is no peg hole in the bottom of the body
  • This figure is a nice representation of BB-8, and the only single carded option as of this review, but we would have liked to see the figure get all tricked out with opening panels and maybe an arm with a lighter
  • Disney released another BB-8 droid with a slightly different paint application later in the same year, you can have a look here: Droid Factory BB-8
  • For a comparison picture of both BB-8 droids side by side have a look here: BB-8 Comparison (this BB-8 is on the left with the clean paint app, the multipack BB-8 droid with the dirty paint application is on the right)
