• This Boba Fett (Animated Debut) action figure was released individually carded
• The figure is based on Boba Fett's very first appearance - which was in a cartoon segment during the Holiday TV Special in November 1978
• Boba Fett's jetpack plugs nicely into a hole in the back of the figure
• The blaster fits OK into both hands and into the holster
• There is no head underneath the helmet
• The range finder on the helmet is movable and it can be unplugged from the helmet
• The electropole fits OK into the hands (it's not a great fit - but it works)
• None of the armor pieces are removable
• Boba Fett stands nicely by himself without needing a stand

The first appearance of Boba Fett was in an animation short in the Star Wars Holiday Special, whose first and only televised airing was on November 17, 1978. In the cartoon, Fett's clothing and armor are brighter, more colorful, and much less battle-worn than how they will appear in The Empire Strikes Back. While he still wears his jet backpack, he carries a twin-pronged weapon instead of his now-trademark blaster.
