MORE INFORMATION

After making modern Princess Leia action figures for over 14 years now, it's getting more and more difficult for Hasbro to make a figure of her that has not been done before. This version of the Princess is brand new, and is based on the final scenes in The Empire Strikes Back where Luke and Leia, 3PO and R2 look out the big window of the medical frigate. Leia has 12 joints, only lacking ankle articulation. The face sculpt is nicely done, and the paint is cleanly applied. Princess Leia can hold the blaster with both hands tightly. Unfortunately, due to the petite nature of this character/figure, Hasbro was not able to add holes in her feet, so you can't place her on a stand. The figure does stand by itself, but not very securely and is likely to tip over once you walk by your shelf. Overall, it's a pretty basic figure based on our beloved Princess, and if it wasn't for the lack of peg holes in the feet, it would have scored a bit higher.

PACKAGING TEXT

On the hospital ship Redemption, Leia watches over Luke as he is treated for the injuries from his lightsaber duel with Darth Vader. Leia, in turn, is comforted by Luke as her thoughts turn to rescuing the carbonite-frozen Han from Jabba the Hutt.
