This Grand Moff Tarkin 3.75" action figure was the first figure to be released in Hasbro's Star Wars Retro Collection in late April 2019
The figure was packed-in with the Star Wars Escape From Death Star board game and cost $19.99
During the original Kenner toy line in the 1970s and 1980s a Grand Moff Tarkin figure was never released
Just like the original Kenner figures back in the days, this Grand Moff Tarkin figure was sculpted with less detail and an overall much more simple appearance
Hasbro included a blaster with the figure which fits loosely into Tarkin's right hand
The figure stands very securely without any balancing issues
The peg hole size in the bottom of both feet match the original Kenner figures perfectly
On the back of both thighs are the Hasbro and Lucasfilm markings
This Grand Moff Tarkin figure is truly fantastic and a wonderful and fun addition to the original Kenner toy line
On a side note, the big red Retro Collection sticker on the front of the packaging can be peeled off, however it's tough to do so proceed with caution!
