• This Princess Leia Organa action figure was released in the Star Wars Retro Collection single carded on May 1st, 2019 exclusively at Target stores
• The figure was only exclusive to Target for a limited time, towards the Fall of 2019 it was sold through several online specialty shops such as Entertainment Earth
• This version of Princess Leia Organa is a faithful recreation of the original Kenner Princess Leia Organa action figure from 1978 (you can look at the original figure in our archive here: Kenner Princess Leia Organa)

• Hasbro measured/scanned the original figure and captured all the details (and lack thereof) in this figure, right down to the size of the peg holes in the bottom of the feet
• There are some differences however, for example this new version of Princess Leia Organa has different production numbers on the back of the legs and it has the Hasbro copyright printed on it instead of the Kenner name
• Other differences can be found in the accessories, the white plastic cape has the same height as the original but it's 0.5" (1.27 cm) wider which makes it wrap around the figure more in the front
• The black blaster is identical to the original (when Leia was first released she came with a black blaster, this was later changed to a more common blue version), we could not find a difference, the weight, the details on it and the density of the plastic appear to be same

• Princess Leia Organa's plastic robe can be taken off
• Our original 1978 Kenner Princess Leia figure has no problem holding her blaster, but this new 2019 version is unable to hold it properly, it keeps falling out
• The figure has no balancing problems
• The packaging was weathered on the outside on purpose to differentiate the Star Wars Retro Collection from the original Kenner figures
• The red Retro Collection sticker can be taken off (you will need to use a hair dryer), but we don't recommend that you do that, because there is a very high possibility that you will damage the card (the sticker is very tough to get off)
• All in all, this Retro Collection Princess Leia Organa figure feels like an original Kenner Star Wars figure except that she can't hold the blaster properly and the cape wraps a bit more around the front
