MORE INFORMATION

  • This Tie Fighter Pilot was released in an Amazon exclusive 7-pack in the Fall of 2013
  • The other six figures in the set included a Battle Droid - FA-4 - TC-70 - a Sandtrooper - Sun Fac and a 212th Attack Battalion Clone Trooper
  • This Tie Fighter Pilot is based on the Walmart exclusive Tie Fighter Pilot from the September 2009 "Imperial Pilot Legacy II" Evolution 3-pack
  • This time however the figure has only one Imperial insignia on the helmet - the way one of the pilots was seen in the original Star Wars
  • The smaller blaster is a great addition to this figure - it's clearly based on the original vintage weapon - which is a nice nod to fans of the original vintage toy line -> Vintage Tie Fighter Pilot
  • The basic Imperial Tie Fighter blaster doesn't fit into the holster - but the smaller blaster fits well
  • Unfortunately - the pilot has trouble holding both blasters in his hands
  • The helmet is a good fit and it can easily be taken off
  • It's too bad that the chest has a hole in it where the chest box can be plugged-in
  • It works well - but if you want to display it without the helmet on - you end up with a figure on display which has a hole in the chest
  • The Tie Fighter pilot is painted well - the tears coming down on the helmet look good and the buttons on the chest box are painted cleanly
  • Unfortunately - the figure's helmet doesn't have the small writing on the tip of the helmet's "mohawk"
  • The chest box - the helmet and the cables can't be separated
  • This figure offers only very little new compared to the previous releases - but for fans who have been collecting for a long time - small details such as the omission of the second Imperial insignia on the helmet - and the inclusion of an update vintage-style blaster - makes this figure worth adding to the collection
