MORE INFORMATION

  • Dak Ralter was released individually carded
  • The figure is a re-release of the Dak Ralter figure from the 2010 The Vintage Collection
  • There are paint and material differences between both figures - which appear to be factory related or simply due to a four year production pause between both releases
  • The biggest difference is found on the head: the tiny heat bubbles in the plastic on the first figure's head are gone - and the plastic this time around is smooth and painted closer to resemble a human's face color
  • Unfortunately the helmet insignia on this review sample was painted very sloppily and was partially located on the visor -> HASBRO! :(
  • The chest box is permanently attached with a cable hanging from it that can be plugged into the flight suit
  • The rifle fits OK in both of Dak's hands - but the blaster sits very loosely and Dak just can't get a good grip on it
  • The helmet is a great fit and covers the entire head nicely
  • There is a little bit of wiggle room - and the helmet can be adjusted so that the visor covers the eyes and the chin strap sits on top of the chin
  • Dak Ralter has no balancing issues
  • Is it worth getting again if you own the previous The Vintage Collection figure? Not really - although this version (insignia issue aside) seems to be a bit nicer overall
