MORE INFORMATION

  • Darth Vader was released individually carded
  • The figure is a re-release of the Darth Vader TBS #26 from earlier in 2014
  • Our review sample had the dome on top of the helmet attached very crookedly - but other versions which we saw in stores didn't seem to have this problem
  • This version of Darth Vader is based on his brief appearance in Revenge Of The Sith
  • The figure came with a red lightsaber - a non-ignited lightsaber hilt and a soft-goods outer robe
  • The robe is easily removable by taking the head off the figure
  • There is no head underneath the helmet
  • Vader is able to hold both lightsabers very well in each of the hands
  • The non-ignited lightsaber hilt doesn't have a peg on it so that it could be plugged into a hole in a belt
  • The figure is super articulated with all joints being ball-jointed
  • Hasbro managed to hide all of Vader's joints beautifully
  • All joints were fairly stiff and while taking pictures of it - the figure kept its balance nicely even in more dynamic poses
  • This version of Darth Vader is a beautifully sculpted and super articulated - only skip this figure if you already own the previous Darth Vader TBS #26 from earlier in 2014
