MORE INFORMATION

This Yoda figure was released in a Walmart exclusive 2-pack in September 2009 together with Clone Trooper Jek. The 2-pack was based on the very first TV episode of the Clone Wars called "Ambush".

This Yoda figure is a straight repack of the previously released Yoda figure from the basic Clone Wars line. This time however, the figure has a much, much lighter and greener body color than the previously released version. Besides the changes in the green body color, Hasbro also decided to not include Yoda's walking stick.

Despite this figure being a re-release/re-paint of an existing figure, it is still the best Yoda figure based on the Clone Wars as of 2009. The figure has 12 joints, only lacking knee articulation, which is probably due to his short legs. Yoda's green lightsaber fits perfectly into both of his hands. The soft goods Jedi robe fits nicely around Yoda, but the light brownish color seems a bit too bright for a Jedi robe.

All in all, if you already own the previously released Yoda figure, you can pass on this one as it's basically the same, except for the much lighter and greener body color.

PACKAGING TEXT

Yoda, Lieutenant Thire and clone troopers Jek and Rys are ambushed by battle droids on Rugosa. The troopers doubt they can prevail since they are greatly outnumbered. Yoda helps Jek see that weapons do not necessarily mean victory and that the mind is also a powerful weapon that they can use to out-think the droids.
