  • This C-3PO figure was released single carded as a Target exclusive in early December 2021
  • The figure is based on C-3PO's appearance in the 1985 Star Wars: Droids - The Adventures Of R2-D2 And C-3PO cartoon
  • For this release of C-3PO Hasbro repainted the Vintage Collection C-3PO figure from 2010 in cartoon yellow to pay homage to the original 1985 Kenner C-3PO figure
  • In addition to four removable panels on the droid Hasbro also included a gold coin which is a replica of the one which came with the 1985 figure with an added Lucasfilm 50th anniversary logo on the back
  • All the panels fit tightly onto the droid except for the back panel, which The removable thigh panel, chest panel and face panel fit very well
  • Unfortunately the back panel doesn't want to stay in place and keeps falling out
  • C-3PO's right lower leg can be detached from the body (in the Empire Strikes Back 3-PO's left leg was detached)
  • C-3PO was painted very well and the yellow and blue colors on the figure look identical to the 1985 released figure
  • The protocol droid stands well on display without falling over
  • The Kenner-inspired DROIDS packaging looks very nice
