MORE INFORMATION

This Wedge Antilles figure was released together with a Borsk Fey'lya figure in a comic 2-pack in 2009. Wedge is based on one of his appearances in the X-Wing Rogue Squadron comic books.

The figure has 12 joints and came with a blaster pistol. The blaster fits well into both of Wedge's hands, but when placed into the holster, it sticks out a bit too much. The head sculpt is well done, and comes pretty close to the version seen in the comic books. The paint application is pretty basic overall, but cleanly applied.

Unfortunately Wedge's leg stance is a bit awkward, and his right leg stands out more to the side, which makes the figure lean a bit to the left. Antilles still keeps the balance, but it looks a bit strange, and the leg stance is probably better fitting for a more action oriented figure.

All in all, this Wedge Antilles figure is an average figure with a great head sculpt. If the leg stance was better, and the blaster would look nicer in the holster, the figure would have scored higher. Nonetheless, fans of Rogue Squadron who crave figures from that series which don't always wear their flight suits, will very likely enjoy this version of Wedge.
