MORE INFORMATION

This Ki-Adi Mundi figure was released together with a Sharad Hett figure in a Comic 2-pack in 2009. This version of the Jedi Master is based on expanded universe stories from the Dark Horse Star Wars comic books.

The figure has a total of 12 joints, including a ball-jointed neck, ball-jointed elbows, and ball-jointed knees. Ki-Adi Mundi came with three accessories, a purple lightsaber with non-removable blade, a hat and a mask. All the accessories fit well, meaning the lightsaber sits tightly in both hands, the hat fits well onto his head, and the mask fits tightly over the mouth. You might have to pop the figure's head off first before you put the mask on because it's a very tight fit, but it does fit, and once it's on, it looks great.

The paint application on the figure is well done with no smudges or any colors looking off. There are no balancing issues of any sort despite the lack of ankle joints. Hasbro gave the figure peg holes in the feet though, if you'd prefer to place it on a stand. There is a little hole on the left side of Ki-Adi Mundi's belt where a lightsaber hilt can be plugged in. However, there was no such lightsaber hilt included with the figure.

All in all, this Ki-Adi Mundi figure is a good looking figure, which looks very close to the drawings in the Dark Horse Star Wars comic books!
