MORE INFORMATION

  • This version of Starkiller was released single carded in April 2023
  • The figure is a slight repaint of the 2012 TVC Starkiller figure, which had also been re-released in the 3 3/4" Black Series line in 2014 (Black Series Starkiller)
  • For this version of Galen Marek Hasbro updated the face with the photo real print for a more realistic portrait and they adjusted the ankle joint color to match the boots
  • Other than the packaging and the update in the face and a fresh coat of paint the figure stayed unchanged, including the accessories
  • The blue lightsabers fit well into both hands (the blades are permanently attached)
  • The lightsaber hilts fit well into the hands and they can be plugged into both belts
  • The back panel (backpack? armor piece?) plugs firmly into a hole in the back of the figure
  • The harness and the loincloth can be removed and interchanged, this works very well
  • Having a second outfit with the figure lets you recreate Starkiller's look from the beginning of the game or the look from towards the end of the game
  • The chest armor is a great fit and can be put on or taken off the figure by popping the head off first (easily doable)
  • Both gauntlets can be snapped onto the forearms
  • Starkiller has no balancing problems even in more dynamic poses
  • The head sculpt is done very well
  • The paint application on the figure mimics the appearance of the character's outfit from the video game very closely
  • All in all this is a well done figure despite being more than a decade old, if you missed the first two releases you now have another opportunity to add it to your collection
