MORE INFORMATION

  • This Darth Vader Black Series figure was released single carded in September 2023
  • Darth Vader was part of Hasbro's celebration of Return Of The Jedi's 40th anniversary and was released in vintage Kenner-inspired packaging
  • Darth Vader's helmet can be broken apart into three parts, the dome, the face mask and the collar
  • Unfortunately the helmet parts don't fit well together and there are small gaps between all three parts when assembled
  • Darth Vader can hold the lightsaber well in both hands
  • The red blade attaches nicely to the lightsaber hilt
  • You can attach the saber hilt to a hook on the belt, but the experience is somewhat lacking due to the hook's small size and the tendency of the robe's soft fabric to obstruct and dislodge the hilt from the hook
  • The head sculpt, including the paint application on it, looks outstanding!
  • It's easy to exchange the right forearm, simply pull the one that's on the figure off and plug the other one on
  • The shoulder armor, the chest box and the belt are not removable
  • The figure pictured here had nicely stiff joints which made it easy to balance out even with the lightsaber raised
  • Overall, this Darth Vader figure looks great with its nostalgic Kenner-style packaging. However, the helmet doesn't fit together properly due to the three parts not aligning well, if you can look past that then you'll most certainly enjoy having this one in your collection
