MORE INFORMATION

  • This Darth Vader figure was released in July 2023 single carded
  • Darth Vader was part of Hasbro's 40th anniversary celebration of Return Of The Jedi and featured the 40th logo on the packaging
  • Hasbro included a three-piece helmet (dome/face mask/collar), two lightsabers (one lit and one unlit hilt), a removable soft-goods cape together with damaged and un-damaged right forearms
  • The helmet fits well over the head and when all three parts are put together only a small gap remains around the mouth area which is hardly noticeable
  • Both weapons fit well into Darth Vader's hands
  • The unlit lightsaber hilt has a peg which can be plugged into a hole on Darth Vader's belt
  • The soft-goods cape is easily removable, but you'll have to pop the head off first in order to get it off
  • The right forearm can be exchanged and it's possible to display Darth Vader's arm with cables exposed or undamaged
  • Even though the cod piece, the belt and the soft-goods inner robe (the bottom part) are separate pieces they are not removable unless the figure is broken apart completely
  • The paint application on Darth Vader looks good and even tiny details such as the buttons on the belt and on the chest box were painted cleanly
  • The head looks a bit small, and from some angles it looks more Hayden Christensen than Sebastian Shaw
  • Darth Vader stands well on display without falling over
  • All in all, this Return Of The Jedi version of Darth Vader turned out nicely and combined with the great looking Kenner-inspired packaging it's well worth upgrading to from previous ROTJ Darth Vader versions in your collection
