• This Sandtrooper Squad Leader was release as part of a 3-pack titled Stormtroopers Of The Empire in September 2025 exclusively through HasbroPulse.com

• For this figure Hasbro re-used the regular Vintage Collection Stormtrooper figure which has been released numerous times over the past few years
• The Sandtrooper came with several blasters, a removable orange shoulder pauldron and a backpack
• The backpack has two straps which can be wrapped around the Sandtrooper's shoulders (nice!)
• The figure has a hole in the back but since the backpack wraps around the shoulders it serves no purpose
• The backpack was sculpted nicely and fits tightly around the shoulders
• The orange shoulder pauldron can be taken off the figure
• The Sandtrooper is able to hold all the included weapons, but the E-11 for example fits better than the bigger ones
• There is no head underneath the helmet
• The paint application on this trooper feels lackluster, there are some dirt smudges on the front of the trooper but for the most part it's an almost entirely clean trooper (there is no weathering on the boots or the entire back of the figure)
• Hasbro simply re-used the existing Stormtrooper sculpt for this release and didn't adjust the diamond shaped left knee cap (a detail which for example was implemented on the Black Series 6" Sandtrooper)
• The abdominal buttons are unpainted (as they should be for a Sandtrooper)
• We had trouble posing the figure while taking pictures of it for this figure entry, it kept falling over and the backpack adds quite a bit of weight to the trooper's back
• All things considered, it's a cool looking figure on display, but with an inaccurate left knee cap and a somewhat lackluster looking paint application, there is definitely room for improvement (we could also use a barbell hip update at some point and maybe an additional hip pouch)

Stormtrooper specialists in operations across the galaxy were trained for missions in any condition. Sandtroopers were equipped to operate on desert worlds. Scout Troopers were lightly armored for greater mobility. Snowtroopers wore customized gear for icy environments.
