This MagnaGuard Droid was released single carded in August 2025 exclusively at Walmart stores
The figure came packaged in 2005 Revenge Of The Sith 3 3/4" toy line packaging as a homage to the original toy line and to celebrate 20 years of Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith
This time the MagnaGuard droid was painted in awesome looking blue metallic looking colors with lots of dirt and weathering on it, it looks truly stunning and is one of the best painted Black Series figures in recent memory
The droid came with two different staffs, a removable soft-goods cape, two removable shoulder bells and two pink electro effects (plus we were able to get the soft plastic wrap from around the head off the figure this time)
Both weapons fit well into the Magnaguard Droid's hands
The shoulder bells can be taken off the figure, this give you greater pose-ability for the arms if you want to raise them
The shoulder bells sit very loosely on top of the pegs and fall off easily
The soft-goods cape can be taken off the figure
The electro effects can be wrapped around the tips of both staffs
The soft-goods cape has cool patterns printed on it
Unfortunately both staff weapons are only a simple gray plastic
The sculpt looks outstanding and captures the likeness of MagnaGuard droids exceptionally well
The large feet in combination with a ton of movable joints make it easy to pose the figure so that it won't fall over when you walk past your shelf
This Magnaguard Droid turned out well and with two different weapons, removable soft-goods and removable shoulder bells, it can be displayed in different ways which make it ideal for troop building
And to emphasis this again, the paint application on this MagnaGuard droid is outstanding, it's a wonderful figure well worth adding to the collection
