MORE Watto INFO

  • This Watto figure was first revealed during a Hasbro Pulse livestream on January 12, 2026
  • The Black Series Watto action figure was released in early May 2026, single-boxed in Attack Of The Clones packaging, exclusively through Amazon and the Fan Channel
  • Upon closer inspection, it is clear that this figure is based on Watto’s appearance in The Phantom Menace, making this a packaging error by Hasbro
  • This release marks Watto’s debut in the Black Series 6-inch line
  • Hasbro went all out with this figure and included an impressive selection of accessories
  • The figure includes a clear plastic display stand, which plugs into a hole on Watto’s back and allows him to be displayed hovering above the shelf
  • The removable belt is included as a separate accessory and fits securely around the figure
  • The set also includes a datapad, a walking stick, an alternate set of wings, and a tiny chance cube
  • The wings plug into two holes on Watto’s back, and their position can be adjusted
  • The alternate wings are designed to show motion, making them ideal for displaying Watto in a hovering pose with the included stand
  • The vest is a separate sculpted piece, but it cannot be removed without taking apart parts of the figure, which is not recommended
  • The chance cube is very small and can be placed loosely into Watto’s left hand
  • The datapad fits nicely into the figure’s hands
  • The walking stick fits well in the right hand, but only sits loosely in the left hand
  • The entire figure is beautifully sculpted and appears to be close to the correct height for the character
  • The facial details are especially impressive, with strong sculpting and well-applied paint
  • The paint application on the body turned out very nicely, with layered green and brown tones that bring out the texture of the character
  • There is no dirt or weathering found on Watto's clothing
  • The eyes are painted particularly well and give the figure a lot of personality
  • The mouth cannot be opened, even though the sculpt makes it look as if it might be articulated
  • The figure balances beautifully on its own, so displaying Watto without the stand is not a problem
  • Overall, this is a truly wonderful rendition of Watto and an easy recommendation for Black Series collectors
