MORE INFORMATION

  • C-3PO (Protocol Droid) was released individually carded
  • This figure was part of the first wave of Star Wars action figures based on Attack Of The Clones
  • C-3PO came with panels which could be plugged into holes on the figure (this works quite well)
  • There were a total of eight panels included - 1 face mask - 2 arm panels - 1 chest panel - 2 thigh panels and 2 shin panels
  • Even though all the panels attach well they make C-3PO look bulky - which feels off
  • For early 2002 the paint application was done quite well with lots of differently colored wires on the figure and weathering on most of the panels
  • The sculpt was fairly detailed - especially the details on the chest panel looks great
  • Hasbro also included a storage box with C-3PO where all the removable panels could be stored
  • Unfortunately C-3PO's leg stance is quite narrow which makes him stand shaky (there are two peg holes in both feet so the figure could be placed onto a stand)

PACKAGING TEXT

Built but left unfinished by Anakin Skywalker ten years earlier, C-3PO longs to be fully assembled. While living with Cliegg Lars and his family on a moisture farm near Mos Eisley on the planet Tatooine, C-3PO finally receives his first outer casing when he is visited by Anakin and Padme.
