MORE INFORMATION

  • Jabba The Hutt was released in the 2004 Saga series' Ultra assortment
  • The set included Jabba's railing - a frog - Jabba's Hooka pipe and a tongue!
  • Unfortunately the set didn't include a full throne
  • This Jabba - released 5 years after the "glob version" - appeared to have a slightly bigger body (despite the exact same 1998 date stamp on the bottom as the "glob Jabba") and an all new head sculpt
  • The body on this Jabba The Hutt is still made out of soft-plastic - but it is much harder and sturdier than on the "glob" version
  • Jabba has a small hole on one side of his mouth where the tongue and the pipe can be plugged in one at a time
  • Hasbro also included a little frog - which Jabba can loosely hold in his right hand
  • The frog is not articulated - but it's sculpted and painted nicely with plenty of details
  • Jabba's head can be turned 360 degrees
  • The tail doesn't move
  • Both arms have swivel joints - the elbows and wrists are not articulated

PACKAGING TEXT

A loathsome slug of a gangster, Jabba the Hutt was the preeminent crime lord in the Outer Rim Territories. Basing his operations out of Tatooine, the Hutt had his pudgy fingers in a number of lucrative and unsavory rackets. He lived in an opulent if sand-scarred palace out in the Tatooine deserts. After the carbonite-frozen Han Solo was delivered to the Hutt, Han's friends attempted a rescue that seemed to end in failure in the Hutt's audience chamber.
