MORE INFORMATION

This Dak Ralter action figure was released individually carded during the first wave of The Vintage Collection in 2010. Dak Ralter can be seen flying together with Luke Skywalker in The Empire Strikes Back during the Battle Of Hoth.

The figure is super articulated with 14 joints. Out of the 14 joints twelve are ball-joints and 2 are swivel joints (forearms). The figure stands very nicely by itself, and you won't need a stand for extra balance. Hasbro included three accessories with the figure, a basic blaster, a blaster rifle, and Dak's Snowspeeder helmet. The rifle fits OK in both of Dak's hands, but the blaster sits very loosely and the figure can't grip it well. The helmet is a great fit and covers the entire head nicely. There is a little bit of wiggle room, and the helmet can be adjusted so that the visor covers the eyes, and the chin strap fits right on top of the chin. Like on most other rebel pilots, the chest box is permanently attached with a cable hanging from it that can be plugged into the flight suit.

The paint application on Dak Ralter is well done and fits right in with all the other rebel pilots in their orange jump suits. The head sculpt looks nice, and features the non-removable head cap. Overall, this is a fantastic figure which is easy to recommend. It's a very welcome upgrade from the previously released POTJ Dak Ralter figure and considering that Dak was a character that was only seen for a few moments in Empire, collectors are lucky that Hasbro went all the way out and released a super articulated version of him.
