MORE INFORMATION

This Clone Trooper was released in the last wave of the comic 2-packs during The Legacy Collection in Spring 2010. The second Star Wars figure in the set was a Clone Trooper Lieutenant. The figure is based on the 212th Battalion Clone Trooper appearances in the Dark Horse comic book story titled "Routine Valor".

The figure is a repaint of the previously released Utapau Clone Trooper from The Saga Collection in 2006. The clone is super articulated with 14 joints, with all of them being ball-joints, except for the wrists. Thanks to adjustable knees and ankles, the figure has no balancing problems and stands very well even with the rifle raised. Both of the included weapons, the blaster and blaster rifle (which can hold a projectile), sit OK in both hands. The antenna on the back of the armor can be removed.

The paint application on the Clone Trooper is average. Just like on the Clone Trooper Lieutenant, there are scratches and markings on the armor, but no dirt. Overall though, this super articulated trooper turned out better than the other figure in the set (Clone Trooper Lieutenant). It's closer to the source material, and you'll be able to use it for a Revenge Of The Sith diorama, if you are not a fan of the Routine Valor comic book.
